Reitz vs. Jasper for the Sectional Championship: It’s #ReitzFootballFriday presented by Tracy Zeller Jewelry!

#RFFThe Mighty Panthers will host the Jasper Wildcats this Friday night in the Class 4A Sectional 24 Championship Game.

The only setback for Jasper, at 10-1 and ranked No. 6 in Class 4A, was a one-point overtime loss to Vincennes on Sept. 19. Since then, they’ve won six in a row and earned a share of the Big Eight conference championship.

The Panthers lead the series, 5-3, but Jasper won last year’s sectional championship game, 17-9. In 2012, Reitz upset then-No. 2 Jasper, 31-30, battling back from a 17-0 deficit.

Coach Hape is 18-5 overall and 0-1 against the Wildcats, while Jasper head coach Tony Ahrens is 2-4 against Reitz.

The winner will face the winner of the Columbus East vs. East Central game for the regional championship. Here are the potential match-ups and locations:
