Jasper 24, Reitz 22 | Twitter video of big plays
Despite fighting back from an 11-0 deficit, Reitz watched in agony as Jasper kicked a 47-yard field goal with seven seconds that secured a 24-22 Wildcat victory.

It was a reversal of emotions from a minute earlier, when on 4th and 29, Elijah Dunham caught a 49-yard touchdown pass from Evan Deig, followed by a successful two-point conversion that gave the Panthers a 22-21 lead.
Jasper improved to 10-1 and will return to Evansville to face Harrison (9-2) next week for the Class 4A Sectional 24 Championship.
Reitz ended their season at 9-2.

Reitz 35, Central 28
The Panthers’ sectional first round game with Central started eerily similar to last week’s loss to Mater Dei.
In both games, Reitz trailed, 14-0, early in the game. And just like last week, the Panthers were able to tie it up at 14.
Both games then went back and forth, but unlike last week’s defeat, Reitz was able to hang on to overcome the upset-minded Bears, 35-28, which finished 5-5.
The Panthers improved to 9-1 overall and will host Jasper in next week’s Class 4A Sectional 24 semifinal. The Wildcats, 9-1, defeated Owen Valley, 38-0, in their first round game.
