Reitz at Terre Haute South: #ReitzFootballFriday Week 2 presented by Tracy Zeller Jewelry
The Panthers started 2015 in exciting fashion by trouncing Henderson County, 62-14.
Now they’ll go up against former Southern Indiana Athletic Conference rival, Terre Haute South (1-0), who won their opener against Evansville North, 26-7.
The Braves were members of the SIAC from 1971 to 1981 and won three conference titles (1973, 1980, 1981). Additionally, the Vigo County school is actually one of the few teams that Reitz has never defeated, as Terre Haute South won the only three encounters in 1979, 1980 and 1981.
The Braves are coached by Tim Herrin, who is 13-10 in his third year.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. central time in Terre Haute.
