Mater Dei 16, Reitz 14: Week 9 GameDay Central presented by Tracy Zeller Jewelry
Recap
Preview
The West Side War will be waged once again this evening as Reitz takes on Mater Dei at Reitz Bowl.
Three titles are on the line with this game. The winner will be undisputed West Side & City Champs, while a Reitz win would give both the Panthers (6-2 overall, 5-1 SIAC, 5-0 City) and Mater Dei (8-0, 6-0, 5-0) a share of the conference championship.
Reitz leads the series, 44-17, and has won seven of the last eight years, with Mater Dei’s last win coming in 2011.

Reitz 38, Bosse 27: Week 8 GameDay Central presented by Tracy Zeller Jewelry
Recap
Preview
The Panthers (5-2 overall, 4-1 SIAC, 4-0 city) host Bosse at the Bowl tonight. The Bulldogs (4-3, 3-2, 2-2) lost last week to Mater Dei, but had won three straight before that.
Reitz leads the series, 62-26-6, and has won eleven of the last twelve years, with Bosse’s last win coming in 2011.
While the city title is no longer in reach for Bosse, the Bulldogs still have an outside chance of earning a share of their first SIAC title since 1994. The Bulldogs would need to beat Reitz and Harrison next week, while Mater Dei would have to lose to Central tonight and Reitz next week. Should all of that happen, Bosse, Central, Mater Dei and Reitz would all share the conference title, and would be joined by Castle should they win their last two against North and Memorial.
